As of August 2015 Antony has been appointed principal guest conductor of the North Netherlands Orchestra (NNO). In the coming season he will conduct three orchestral programs including Mahler’s Symphony Nr 4, Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder and Philip Glass’ Heroes Symphony.
A preview of coming seasons include debuts with a.o. Royal Flemish Philharmonic (a.o. in Concertgebouw Amsterdam), Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Göteborg Opera (Premiere Verdi: Macbeth), Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera du Rhin Straßbourg (Premiere Janacek: Cunning little Vixen), Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
Antony will conclude his final season 14/15 as General Music Director of the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and chief conductor of the Anhaltische Philharmonie with two cycles of Wagners “Ring des Nibelungen”.
Antony will return to Concertgebouw Amsterdam on May 2nd and 4th in a program dedicated to the remembrance of the victims of the Second World War. On the program are works by Shostakovich and Kox.
