Debut with the Helsinki Philharmonic, with live broadcast

Antony made his debut with the Helsinki Philarmonic on 26 April 2019. The performance was broadcast live from the fantastic concert hall in the Helsinki Music Centre and is available on demand via Helsinki Kanava.

Antony was joined by soloist Francesco Piemontesi, as he was with the Swedish Radio Symphony earlier in the season, to perform Unsuk Chin’s virtuosic Piano Concerto. Their collaboration proved once again that they are well matched for this challenging piece. The concerto was bookended with Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suite.
