Soccer meets orchestra...!

Just an ordinary Tuesday at the rehearsal of the North Netherlands Orchestra… Two fantastic soccer players of FC-Groningen, Jesper Drost and Tom Hiariej, were discovered also as autodidact piano players…!!!

The day before Marcel Mandos, the artistic leader of the orchestra, welcomed them in the Oosterpoort. Afterwards Antony gave them a little masterclass, and on this Tuesday, 7 March they stepped completely out of their comfort zone and played two pieces together with the North Netherlands Orchestra: very beautiful and on astonishing level! What a concentration, what a talent, what an energy!!!
