Great debut: Wagner and Ligeti at the BBC SSO

After recording a high-rated CD with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Antony made his highly successful concert-debut at City Halls in Glasgow. On the program was the 70-minute arrangement by fellow-Dutchman Henk de Vlieger of Wagner’s “Der Ring des Nibelungen”. The exceptional passion, dedication and love for the music of the brilliant BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra was very impressive. A stunning performance of Ligeti’s Mysteries of the Macabre by Sara Hershkowitz and a magnificent Haydn 22 completed this extraordinary program.
