Sacre, Daphnis, AND World Premiere with National Youth Orchestra

Having a huge passion for nurturing the future generation - and in his function as Artistic Advisor - Antony conducted the Wintertour 2023 of the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. The program was titled “Sacrifices and Rituals”, and contained music by Messiaen (Les offerandes oubliées), Ravel (Daphnis 2nd suite), Bram Kortekaas (L’Élue, Prelude to Le Sacre du Printemps, World Premiere) and Strawinsky (Le Sacre du Printemps). Concerts were broadcasted on NPO Radio 4 in the Vrijdagconcert (Utrecht, Vredenburg) and Zondagochtendconcert (Amsterdam, Concertgebouw) and were received with standing ovations. Both energy and technical and musical ability of this passionate orchestra impressed audiences and critics!
