Season end in Seoul

Antony ended his 2018/19 season with Bruckner Symphony No.8 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, at both the Lotte Concert Hall and Seoul Arts Center. Also on the programme was Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.20, with soloist Till Fellner. As Antony said, they “rocked it completely!”

After more than 80 concerts since September, Antony now finishes the season with many highlights to reflect on; the title of Principal Guest Conductor of Opera North, five-star reviews and a nomination for the 2018 Schaunard Award in Opera Magazine for Korngold’s Die tote Stadt at Nederland Reisopera, and a hugely successful jump in at Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, featuring Unsuk Chin’s fiercely challenging Piano Concerto.
