TWOSET-VIOLIN meets BELGIAN NATIONAL
Australian comedic musical duo TwoSetViolin recorded a video at Bozar in Brussels, with the Belgian National Orchestra. TwoSetViolin has millions of followers on social media and wants to prove that classical music is anything but boring. In late May, TwoSetViolin surfaced in Brussels, during the final week of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition. A video that they shot with the Belgian National Orchestra in between rehearsals and performances of the finalists has been posted.
The skit is a parody of the well-known videos in stations or restaurants, where suddenly, supposedly by accident, people come together and make music. It begins with a piece of violin solo, from the third movement of Peter Tchaikovsky's concerto. After a while, the entire Belgian National Orchestra drops in and Antony also joins in merrily with the two Australian musicians.
