Deep humanity with Bartók BLUEBEARD

Tonight is the final evening of a series of five completely sold-out performances of Bartóks “BLUEBEARD’s CASTLE, as part of the Muziekzomer Gelderland”. Antony takes the amazing National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands into the suspicious old Milk Factory of Arnhem (NL) to perform Bartóks one-act opera masterpiece, in a very moving staging by Kenza Koutchoukali and amazing lighting by Teus van der Stelt. Marc Pantus (Bluebeard) and Barbara Kozelj (Judith) gave incredible interpretations of their roles. Audience reactions are very touching: “one of the most deep opera experiences ever…”
